Financial stimulation of birth rate must be effective - Radiy Khabirov

“Vladimir Putin began his Address to the Russian Federal Assembly from the family. We know that we have a decrease in birth rate. Moreover, the state, as a rule, stimulates it financially. However, the resources are not limitless, so it is important that every ruble will be used effectively aiming at the birth rate increase”, explained the Acting Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov. “We have analyzed the situation [about allocating 300 thousand rubles for a firstborn] and come to the conclusion that this is not the most effective way.”

According to the head of the republic, the republican budget has funds that can be spent on programs to stimulate families to give birth to both the first, and second, and third children.

“But I emphasize that we will invest the funds when they give an economic effect and the effect of achieving the [national project] indicators,” said Radiy Khabirov.

It should be noted that this issue was discussed by the head of Bashkortostan with young people in the framework of the talks, which were held at the “Bashkortostan - a Territory of Opportunities” forum.
