Rostelecom will be engaged in "Safe City" and "Smart City" programs implementation in Bashkiria

During today's meeting in the House of the Republic, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov discussed with the President of PJSC Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky cooperation issues in the framework of infrastructure projects and the digital economy development programs, the press service of the head of the republic reports.

The company is ready to offer complex products not only for business and the public but also for the state. The Rostelecom head expressed willingness to participate in the implementation of the Safe City and Smart City programs in Bashkortostan, including through public-private partnerships.

In particular, the introduction of traffic management systems, ensuring safety on the roads, monitoring the observance of traffic rules, weight and dimensional controls were discussed. According to Mikhail Oseevsky, the company has accumulated rich experience in creating the appropriate turnkey infrastructure.
