New PDAs will create 4,800 jobs in Bashkiria

UFA, 20 February 2019. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. By the decision of the Russian Government, three priority development areas (PDAs) have been created in Bashkortostan – in the cities of Neftekamsk, Blagoveshchensk, and Beloretsk. As follows from the documents published on the official portal, the Bashkir PDAs will create about 4,800 new jobs and attract about 19 billion rubles of investment.
The Government of the republic has signed some agreements of intent for the implementation of investment projects in the Neftekamsk PDA. The following projects are planned: development, testing and production of new-class pumping units for the transportation of oil and other liquids for the energy, mining and petroleum industries, organization of fiber-optic measurement and monitoring systems production, PVC items production, modular buildings, prefabricated modular buildings production, development of fire retardants of intumescent type for binder and decorative coating of fiberglass products, gel coats and pigment pastes, production of fiberglass sheets with gel coating, construction materials, a medical center creation.
Framework agreements with investors on the implementation of projects in Beloretsk were signed on a vegetable processing plant, production of dairy products of extended shelf life, organization of hyper-pressed brick production, steel-smelting production by vacuum-film molding of steel and cast iron semi-finished products, a spring production line for cars and trailers, manufacture of suspension springs for the automotive industry, construction of a hotel and restaurant complex of the ski center.
In Blagoveshchensk, investors are planning to build a production base for assembling tracked and wheeled tractors, a line for the production of precast concrete panels, and a plant for the production of beverages.
The "Neftekamsk" PDA should create 2 thousand jobs and attract 4 billion rubles of investment. The "Beloretsk" PDA - 1.5 thousand jobs and 8 billion rubles of investments. The "Blagoveshchensk" PDA - 1300 jobs and investments for 7 billion rubles.
The “Kumerau” and “Belebey” PDAs are already operating in the region. Since January 1, 2019, the companies-residents of the priority development areas have tax rates reduced three times, which will be valid until December 31, 2021. The relevant law was adopted by the State Assembly - Kurultay RB. For residents working under the simplified taxation system, the income tax rate decreases from 6% to 2%. For those working under the “income minus costs” system the income tax rate decreases from 15% to 5%. Residents are granted benefits on profit, land, property taxes.
