Lasselsberger company completed 50% of dry mixes plant construction in Bashkiria

Lasselsberger company continues to build a cement plant in the Abzelilovo district. The amount of work is half completed, the new enterprise can start operating in the middle of 2020. The founder of Lasselsberger, Josef Lasselsberger, spoke about this during a meeting with the Acting Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov. The parties discussed the implementation of the company's investment projects in the region.

“We are delighted to see you again in our republic. You are a substantial foreign investor in Bashkortostan. Therefore, it is essential for us that your company works comfortably here. However, most of all we are pleased by the fact that you are going to further develop your investment projects with us, ”said Radiy Khabirov.

The construction project of the cement plant in Abzelilovo district envisages a creation of workshops for the white cement production with a capacity of 200 thousand tons per year, micro-calcite (grinding limestone) with a capacity of 100 thousand tons per year and a workshop for the preparation and packaging of building mixtures with a capacity of 300 thousand tons per year. As part of the implementation of the first stage of the project, the volume of investments will exceed 2 billion rubles, at least 220 jobs will be created.

“We see the readiness of the republic to support our company. This is very important for us,” said Josef Lasselsberger. “Simultaneously with the construction of the plant, we are engaged in design works on expanding the production of ceramic tiles. We plan to double the capacity and volume of production. In 2020, we will start construction works here. ”

In Ufa, there is one of the largest ceramic tile manufacturing plants in Europe - Lasselsberger Ceramics. Today, the plant produces annually 9 million square meters of ceramic tiles and porcelain tiles. The plant employs more than 500 employees.
