Average salary in Bashkiria exceeded 39.7 thousand rubles

The average salary in Bashkortostan exceeded 39,746 rubles in December 2018, the Ministry of Labor of the Republic reported citing statistician data.
According to the latest information, there is now more than 1.9 million economically active population in the region. The number of unemployed, in accordance with the standards of the International Labor Organization, is 89.5 thousand people. The overall unemployment rate is 4.6 percent.
The subsistence minimum for the working-age population is 9,504 rubles.
As previously reported by Bashinform News Agency, the average salary of the social sphere and science employees amounted to 34,231 rubles in the republic last year.
