Bashkiria has signed investment agreements for 40 billion rubles in Sochi - Radiy Khabirov

According to the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, Bashkiria signed investment agreements worth 40 billion rubles at the forum, and that was the main focus of the large-scale event.

“Today’s forum has become a kind of victory lap after large-scale previous hard work. Agreements, money, investments do not appear immediately,” said Khabirov. “The second important topic of the forum is national projects, the task that the entire government of the republic is working on now.”

As the head of the republic noted, currently the issue of attracting investments to the region and the country as a whole was crucial.

“There are several our fellow countrymen who, for various reasons, work and do business here and there. Our task is to return our people to the homeland. We should ensure trust in the authorities to those who work here as entrepreneurs are always careful. Here in the civil service, we are at risk of losing our jobs, and entrepreneurs risk everything. If entrepreneurs have a distrust in power, nothing is going to work out”, noted the Acting Head of Bashkiria. “For example, in our republic meetings with investors in the “Investment Hour” format have shown their effectiveness. They are attended by representatives of institutions relevant at the moment, investors. They discuss problems and tasks, and the issues are instantly solved”.

Also in an interview with journalists, Radiy Khabirov spoke about the possibility of mutually beneficial economic cooperation between Bashkortostan and the Republic of Crimea.
