59 thousand new cars were sold in Bashkiria for year

Sales of new cars in the republic increased last year by 8.1%. 58.9 thousand new cars were sold in Bashkortostan total for 2018, according to the Avtostat analytical agency.
In general, in Russia last year they sold over 1.634 million new passenger cars. This is by almost 12% more than in 2017.
Moscow remains the largest regional market in the country - about 239 thousand new sold cars. The sales increased by 12.1% compared to 2017.
The Moscow Region market for the same time grew by 15.3% - 136.3 thousand new cars.
Three leading regions with a growth of 11.2% are closed by St. Petersburg, where 112 thousand cars were sold during the year.
The share of Moscow, Moscow region and St. Petersburg last year accounted for almost one-third of the entire Russian car market.
Tatarstan is in the fourth place in the rating, where last year 71.6 thousand new cars were sold (+ 1.7%).
This is followed by Krasnodar Territory (+ 12.6%) and Bashkiria (8.1%) - 62.1 and 58.9 thousand cars, respectively.
Samara, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Rostov regions also hit the Top-10 on sales of cars without mileage.
According to experts, at the end of 2018, all regions in the Top 30 showed a positive trend.
The largest growth of the new cars market in the country was recorded in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District. Last year, 30.3 thousand new cars were sold here. This is by 28% more than in 2017.
