More than half of cars are purchased with loans in Bashkiria

Residents of Bashkiria borrowed 24 billion 46 million rubles for the purchase of cars in 2018, according to the National Bureau of Credit Histories. The volume of car loans increased compared with 2017 (19 billion 720 million rubles) by 22%. With this indicator, the republic remains in the top five regions with the largest amounts of auto loans.

Bashkiria was bypassed by Moscow (more than 69 billion rubles), St. Petersburg (46 billion), Moscow region (44.5 billion), Tatarstan (26.8 billion).

In general, in 2018, the car loan market showed a record volume of 602 billion rubles - an increase of 20% compared with 2017 (500 billion rubles). The rating was compiled according to the data of 4200 creditors who send information to the National Bureau of Credit Histories.

According to the Bureau, the share of credit cars is more than 50% of the total number of cars sold.
