UFA, 6 February 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Azat Gizatullin/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina
The unmanned aerial vehicle IDS-5 was created by the Blagoveshchensk company "VARK" for monitoring extended objects. It can fly 20 hours autonomously up to 1000 km and lift up to 8 kg of load. The drone was presented yesterday at a small exhibition on the sixth floor of the House of the Republic. The exhibition was visited by the Acting Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov. At the exhibition, other scientific and technological developments of the republican businessmen were presented.
Alik Abdullin, Director General of the Vostochnaya Armaturnaya Kompanya (VARK), told Bashinform News Agency that their drones would help to examine linear parts of highways, to investigate the pipeline for tie-ins, to monitor the environmental situation, trees logging, to control subcontract organizations and much more.
The head of the republic asked about the companies the drone manufacturers were cooperating with. Alik Abdullin noted that among their clients were Rosneft, Bashneft, Gazprom, and this year they would like to work more closely in the field of agriculture and environmental management.
Another development by young Ufa scientists was virtual reality glasses. Radiy Khabirov tested glasses and so-called digital hands. The unique development by the “Finch Technology” company is an affordable device that works with a mobile VR platform and is not inferior in functions to those used with computer VR games. Thus in November 2016, Finch Shift appeared. According to the company's technical director, Viktor Erivantsev, the United States and China are actively purchasing their product.
Zagir Rashitov, General Director of Gruzobzor LLC, showed the head of the republic a working website developed by Ufa IT specialists and uniting forwarders, carriers, and shippers. It is a kind of transport exchange.
Radiy Khabirov tasted a bioactive additive, which is produced from beebread by one of the Bashkir companies. As the company representatives said, their product had already managed to find its customers, had all the necessary certificates, planned to expand the market.
Another development was a line of fertilizers and plant growth stimulants. Director of AKH-Agro LLC Rustem Zaripov complained about the difficulty in competing with world manufacturers of herbicides, and about the appearance of counterfeit fertilizers in the market. Radiy Khabirov noted that the company should work more actively with the Ministry of Agriculture RB.
