In Bashkiria, business should feel itself comfortably, and it should be treated with respect, cared and cherished. The Acting Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, stated this at a meeting with regional businessmen in the format of the Business Club. It was attended by the heads of engineering, promotional, development companies, software, unmanned aerial vehicles developers, producers of media content. Before the meeting, Radiy Khabirov examined the exhibition of products and services of entrepreneurs.
The head of Bashkortostan noted that throughout some years the republic has been experiencing some decrease in investment activity.
“There are many explanations for this, including objective reasons. Nevertheless, when we look at some large regions - the Moscow region, Tatarstan, the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, we see that everything goes smoothly with our colleagues. Therefore, we are now very actively working on this”, said Radiy Khabirov.
According to the head of the region, the trends in foreign economic investment attractiveness are not encouraging either.
Radiy Khabirov believes that the leaders of municipalities and departments should understand that the economy and, accordingly, the entire social life of the territories will depend on entrepreneurs.
Radiy Khabirov noted that the republic had missed a moment when some territories were very actively pursuing the creation of ready-made business platforms - industrial parks, technology parks. They put much effort into getting the investor where everything was ready for him. In Bashkiria, there are all forms of business support, and they are quite elaborate.
“On the one hand, we seem to have the necessary tools, but there are no investors. Each time I cite the example of the Moscow region. Can you imagine: today negotiations are carried out, and after two or three years, the assembly of “Mercedes” cars is localized there. Moreover, this happens in difficult foreign policy conditions. Therefore, I believe that this is also possible here if we work in a friendly and organized manner, ”said Radiy Khabirov.
During the meeting, the participants marked the need to create a modern IT-park and a children's amusement park, to amend the conditions for holding tenders to support local enterprises. Radiy Khabirov proposed to work out some initiatives and discuss them within the framework of “Investment Hour” session.
