Radiy Khabirov about Eastern Exit construction from Ufa

This year Bashkortostan plans to raise 1.5 billion rubles from the federal budget for the implementation of the Eastern Exit project from Ufa. This was announced at a meeting in the Republican Government by Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia on State Building and Legislation Rafael Mardanshin.
“Our working group tries to raise funds within the transport system development programs of the Russian Federation. If last year more than 2.074 billion rubles were additionally attracted from the federal budget to the republic, then in 2019 an application for 2.714 billion rubles was already confirmed, he noted. “However, we expect that it is possible to get more than 2 billion rubles. Of these, 1.5 billion rubles are allocated for the construction project of the Eastern Exit from Ufa, about 500 million rubles for the reconstruction of the Yuzhny Bridge, 90 million rubles for the development of rural roads. ”
According to Rafael Mardanshin, the Ministry of Transport of Russia has not yet submitted the corresponding request to the Ministry of Finance for the additional allocation of 2 billion rubles for Bashkiria, including for the construction of the Eastern Exit from Ufa.
Meanwhile, Radiy Khabirov, Acting Head of the Republic, said at a meeting with parliamentarians, that his meeting with Russian Transport Minister Yevgeny Dietrich was scheduled for mid-February.
“Following this meeting, we will understand the future of the Eastern Exit from Ufa,” said Radiy Khabirov.
In addition to financing the Eastern Exit Project, the reconstruction of the Yuzhny Bridge and the construction of rural roads, State Duma deputies from Bashkiria additionally discussed the issues of 10 republican facilities to be included in the Comprehensive Road Infrastructure Development Plan. Six of them are road bridges in the Bashkir capital. An application for financing one such bridge for the sum of 500 million rubles has been submitted so far, Rafael Mardanshin added.
