Alcohol production in Bashkiria increased by 13 percent last year

Last year, about 5 million decaliters of alcoholic beverages were produced in Bashkiria. This is by 13% more than in 2017.

Both major producers - the “Bashspirt” and “Bosca Rus” enterprises increased production volumes by 14 and 10% respectively, the Bashkortostan State Trade Committee stated.

Besides, the Ufa plant JSC "Efes" and the branch "Shihan" of "Heineken" group produced a total of almost 29 million decaliters of beer for the year. This is 3% more than in 2017.

According to the State Trade Committee RB, excise taxes for 9 billion rubles were received by the republican budget from the production of alcoholic beverages and beer. Of these, 6 billion rubles were collected from the production of beer and 2.7 billion rubles - from the redistribution of excise taxes.

As Bashinform News Agency earlier reported, last year 4.9 million deciliters of all types of alcohol were sold in the republic. This is 9% more than in 2017. Republican producers produced half of the alcohol sold.

By type of alcoholic products, vodka traditionally dominates in the sales structure (47.6%).

Wine takes the second place (33.7%), then alcoholic beverages (8.6%) and champagne (5.7%).

Least of all, residents of Bashkiria prefer to buy brandy and low alcohol products - 4.2 and 0.2%, respectively.
