"Trans-Urals" economic forum will become annual in Bashkiria

The "Trans-Urals" economic forum in the city of Sibay will now be held annually. The head of Bashkiria supported the proposal of the business community of the city. During a meeting with local businessmen at the session of the All-Russian public organization “Business Russia” Radiy Khabirov noted that at present the institutions of business support were numerous, fragmented and not always effective in the republic, therefore in the future, their system would be structured.

The co-chairman of “Business Russia” Andrei Nazarov, proposed to compensate for the environmental burden of the city made by Uchalinsky Mining Plant with a kind of “localization”. Enterprises and businesses of the city should get an opportunity to work with the UMMC and the Sibaysky branch of Uchalinsky GOK. According to Nazarov, localization will give the city’s economy an increase in revenues and Sibay should get a return on the problems that the plant has been creating for several decades.

“I see points of economic growth in entrepreneurship. We already have more than one and a half thousand small and medium-sized companies that provide a quarter of the local budget revenues. But to create a true competition for the GOK and jobs, and a general contribution to the economy, they should constantly grow and develop, opening new and new branches. ”

During the meeting, Radiy Khabirov thanked Andrei Nazarov for his offer to undertake the organization and payment of rest for children as well as seniors of Sibay in sanatoriums of Bashkortostan, who had health problems due to industrial smog in the city.
