Radiy Khabirov signed decree on additional state support for Bashkiria single-industry towns

Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov signed a decree on making amendments to the priority regional program "Comprehensive Development of the Mono-towns of Bashkortostan". It is about providing additional measures of state support to three single-industry towns - Agidel, Sibay, and Mezhgorye, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development RB reports.

Earlier, the ministry proposed to make changes to this program concerning the mechanisms of support of single-industry territories in relation to other cities with a difficult socio-economic situation that did not meet federal criteria of the mono-cities profile. These cities included Agidel, Sibay, and Mezhgorye.

The inclusion of these three cities in the Comprehensive Development Program for Mono-towns will allow Agidel, Sibay, and Mezhgorye investment projects with an investment volume of more than 10 million rubles to qualify for state support provided for priority investment projects.

Measures are now envisaged for these cities to improve the quality of the urban environment, the development of the social sphere, housing and utility services, and infrastructure.
