Bashkir Soda Company paid 5 billion rubles of dividends

The Bashkir Soda Company has announced a payment of dividends to its shareholders in the amount of 5 billion rubles, Interfax reports.

Dividends on BSC securities were paid based on the results of the first nine months of 2018. The total number of shares, the income for which was payable, amounted to about 1.657 million pieces. The size of the dividend accrued per ordinary share exceeded 3,000 rubles.

The Bashkir shareholder of the enterprise is the state investment company “Regional Fund”. The Fund owns a 38.38% stake in BSC. Accordingly, about 2 billion rubles from the total amount of dividends were received by the republican budget.

As previously reported by Bashinform News Agency, according to the results of 2018, the Bashkir Soda Company maintained steady growth in the production of main types of products.

The company produced 1.7 million tons of soda ash in 2018.

JSC BSC (part of the Bashkhim Group) was established in May 2013 as a result of the merger of OJSC “Soda” and OJSC “Kaustik”. The company ranks first in Russia for the production of soda ash and baking soda and is also one of the leaders in the production of PVC, caustic soda and hydrochloric acid.
