Only 63% of Bashkiria employees have benefits package - survey

According to a survey conducted by HeadHunter, 63% of Bashkir residents can boast of having a benefits package from employers. The rest admitted that in their company such a bonus to salary was not provided. However, a quarter of the surveyed residents of the republic, who have a benefits package, said that in 2018 their employers reduced the number of pleasant benefits. About 2% of respondents told about an expansion of the benefits package. The share of those who announced a reduction in the package was higher among employees of the metallurgical industry, food, and non-food consumer goods. First of all, corporate events, various vouchers, and gifts for children and for holidays, voluntary medical insurance, compensation for mobile communication and travel, as well as external training fell for the cuts. The expansion of benefits was most often reported by people working in the field of energy, industrial equipment, media, and marketing.

“It is important that, in general, the situation with the benefits package has not changed much over the past 12 months - a year ago we observed quite the same ratio. Most often, companies use voluntary medical insurance, corporate events, reimbursement of expenses for mobile communication and travel, various gifts and travel packages, as well as training, food, and sports, as a supplement to the salary”, said Anna Osipova, the head of HeadHunter Ural press service.
