Labor Ministry named most popular professions

Over the past two years, teachers of vocational and pre-school education, as well as accountants, have become the most popular professions in the country. RBC reports it with the reference to the data of the Ministry of Labor.

The monitoring system was formed by the All-Russian Research Institute of Labor Department together with Plekhanov University team. Three occupations leading in the number of vacancies were determined on the basis of open source data, including the website “Rabota v Rossii”.

It is reported that last year there were about 131 thousand vacancies for accountants, 101 thousand for teachers of vocational training and more than 96 thousand for preschool education teachers.

Previously, experts named professions that will be the most popular in 2019. Analysts expect growth in demand for mobile applications developers for iOS and Android, designers of mobile interfaces, and testing specialists. According to experts, the demand for data analysts will also continue this year.
