Milk production increased in Bashkiria

Since the beginning of the new year, the agricultural enterprises and farms of Bashkiria produced 24.5 thousand tons of milk. This is almost 400 tons more than a year ago, the Ministry of Agriculture of the region reports.

Livestock breeders of the Chekmagush district confidently stay in the lead in the republic. Local agricultural enterprises and farms produced at the moment about 2 thousand tons of milk. This is 65 tons of milk more than a year ago.

Daily milk yield from each cow in the Chekmagush district reaches almost 18 kilograms.

The second largest gross milk yield - agricultural enterprises and farms of the Sterlitamak district - more than 1.4 thousand tons since the beginning of the year.

Livestock breeders of Dyurtyuli district took the third place. Since the beginning of the year, over 1.3 thousand tons of milk has been produced in this region of the republic.

As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, Ufa remained the most expensive city in terms of consumer milk prices during the whole of 2018.

In December last year, the average cost of pasteurized milk 2.5-3.2 percent fat content in Ufa reached 47.85 rubles per liter. On average in the republic this indicator is lower - 46.52 rubles.
