Food basket cost was estimated in Bashkiria

The statistics of Bashkiria estimated the cost of the food basket in the region.

Beef, chicken, sausages, wieners, boiled sausage, sour cream, cheese, tea, flour, bread, biscuits, rice, vermicelli, pasta, potatoes, cabbage, onions, carrots, tomatoes, and apples rose in price compared to January 9. Over the week, the cost of these products in Bashkortostan increased by 0.1% to 3.6%.

Carrots showed the most increase in the republic - by 3.6 percent. A kilogram of this vegetable now costs almost 25 rubles on average in Bashkiria.

For this period, prices for pork, half-smoked, and cooked smoked sausage, canned meat, frozen fish, butter and sunflower oil, margarine, milk, cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, chocolates, salt, millet, buckwheat, and fresh cucumbers showed some decrease. Weekly price cuts for these products range from 0.1 to 6.6 percent. At the same time, fresh cucumbers fell in price more than others - by 6.6 percent. Their average price for this moment is 148 rubles per kilogram.

It is only the cost of lamb that remained unchanged during this time in Bashkiria. A kilogram of lamb, besides boneless meat, now costs 370 rubles per kilogram to residents of the republic, statisticians summarized.
