"Bashmilk" hit Top 20 of national milk processors rating

The Dairy Market Research Center has published the ratings of the leading players in the dairy market in Russia in 2018. Total, analysts presented four ratings: Top 50 manufacturers, processors, dairy farms and factories. The enterprise from Bashkiria - "Bashmilk" Group debuted in the rating of processors. It not only turned out to be one of the five newcomers of the rating but also took the highest position among them - the twentieth place.

According to The Dairy News, the new companies that were included in the Top 50 for the first time were Bashmilk Group (20th place), which enterprises processed 140 thousand tons of milk this year (55% more than in 2017). ), Neva-Milk (36th place), Cheese House (46th place), Stavropol Dairy Plant (48th place) and Nalchinsk Dairy Plant (50th place). In general, as the compilers of the rating note, all Russian enterprises processed more than 10 million tons of milk, which is 3.3% higher than the 2017 figure.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bashmilk Group of Companies Dinar Galiev called getting into the Top-20 processors as "a breakthrough for the whole company" and "not the last achievement", and among the factors that ensured this, he named "quality and volumes that are interesting for large chains". According to him, “among two thousand companies in Russia is very honorable and significant to take such a place. Today we supply products to 57 Russian regions, our representative offices are in every major city, we work closely with the largest federal retailers, such as Pyaterochka, Magnit, and Okay. I am sure that the 20th place in the national rating is not a ceiling for us; we intend to expand our product line and will be able to reach even better results”.
