Pension Fund in Bashkiria announced increase in pensions since January 1

From January 1, insurance pensions, including a fixed payment, of non-working pensioners will be indexed by 7.05%.

As explained by the press service of the Pension Fund branch in Bashkiria, the amount of the increase is individual and depends on the size of the pension. The postal service organizations are starting to deliver increased payments to pensioners of the republic as early as January 3 of the next year.

The procedure for indexing pensions for working pensioners does not change. Payment of pensions, taking into account indexation, will be made after dismissal from work.

Social security pensions will be indexed from April 1 to 2.4% to working and non-working pensioners. The increase will affect 98.6 thousand pensioners of Bashkortostan. At the same time, other payments, the amount of which depends on the growth of social pensions, will be also indexed.

All non-working pensioners, whose total amount of material support is lower than the subsistence minimum established in the republic, receive a social supplement to the pension during the year. The State Assembly - Kurultay of Bashkortostan approved the size of the subsistence minimum for a pensioner to determine the social supplement to the pension in the amount of 8645 rubles in 2019.
