Dog Lucy found hidden million in Ufa airport

At the Ufa airport, a service dog found one million rubles in passenger baggage, the Bashkortostan customs authorities inform. While the amount allowed for transportation across the border is 10 thousand dollars (equivalent). Total, the detected amount exceeded the allowed size by 456 thousand rubles. The passenger explained his act by ignorance of customs regulations. He faces a fine of half to twice the undeclared amount or confiscation of money.

The one-year-old Belgian Shepherd Malinois named Lucy is the youngest four-legged employee of the Bashkortostan customs. She specializes in finding money. For three months of work, Lucy had two episodes of money detection.
