Its employees received offers to move from next year to work in Ufa or resign with the payment of compensation. About 700 people worked in the Moscow office at the time of Bashneft shares purchase by Rosneft. Rosneft employees will move to the office in the center of Moscow.

The Moscow office of Bashneft may be liquidated until mid-March 2019. The information was confirmed by the press secretary of Rosneft, Mikhail Leontyev. “We have the lightest possible realignment. The company does not need a representative office of Bashneft in Moscow now”, he said.

The Bashneft office in Moscow is located at: 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya, 5. Legally, the Moscow office was a branch of Bashneft, and the head office was in Ufa, where Bashneft is registered.
