Bashkortostan's foreign trade turnover reached 4.5 billion dollars

The foreign trade turnover of Bashkiria for 10 months of 2018 reached $ 4.54 billion. This is by 13.4% more than a year ago.
The top ten countries-counterparties include Latvia, Belarus, China, Germany, Kazakhstan, India, the Netherlands, Turkey, Finland, and Poland. The trade turnover with these countries amounted to $ 3.45 billion, or 76% of the republican foreign trade turnover.
The share of non-resource-based exports amounted to 44.2% (1.64 billion dollars) of the total volume of republican exports. The growth by January-October 2017 was 15.3%.
“Engineering products, chemical products, and rubber, as well as metals and products from them, food products and raw materials, were the most exported in this category of goods”, said Ilgizar Sanyarov, the press secretary of the State Committee RB for Foreign Economic Relations.
