About 3.4 billion rubles will be spent on landscaping in Bashkiria

UFA, 18 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. In 2019 in Bashkortostan, about 3.4 billion rubles will be allocated for landscaping. Of these, 1.4 billion rubles are federal subsidies. The funds are planned to be spent on repairs of the yards and improvement of playgrounds, urban and rural parks. This was announced by the Acting Head of the republic Radiy Khabirov, today while delivering his Address to the State Assembly RB.

“Look at our playgrounds. This is a shame. But we will solve this issue. Next year we will allocate about 3.4 billion rubles for these purposes, including 1.4 billion rubles from the federal budget. Municipalities will also participate in the program. This will allow us to repair about 500 yards, as well as to landscape about 150 parks and squares in municipalities,” the head of the region said. “In every major village, there must be a good park. This is not something extraordinary - to create a comfortable place for people to improve their health and to have leisure time activities with family”.

Radiy Khabirov also noted that starting next year a large new program on repairing entrance halls would be launched in the republic. A billion rubles from the budgets of the republic and management companies will be directed annually to its implementation. Thus, in six years it is planned to repair more than 26 thousand entrance halls and completely solve this problem. At the same time, according to the head of the region, it is crucial to discuss improvement programs directly with the residents of the houses during public hearings.
