In Bashkiria new housing construction fell by 6% in 11 months 2018

For 11 months of this year, 23.4 thousand apartments with a total area of 1.9 million square meters were built in the republic. This is by 5.9% less than a year ago, reports the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency.

According to statisticians, 458 square meters of new housing were accounted for every thousand residents of the republic in 2018.

Following the results of 11 months of the current year, Bashkortostan ranks the second in commissioning residential buildings, and the third in commissioning housing per capita among regions of the Volga Federal District.

In the structure of housing construction, the share of housing built by the population at its own expense and with the help of loans amounted to 69.5%. It was built 11.8 thousand houses with an area of 1.3 million square meters. This is by 7.3% less than in 2017.

Developers - legal entities of the republic for the same time commissioned 567 thousand square meters of the total area of residential buildings. This is by 2.6% less than in January-November of the last year, statisticians summarized.
