Rustem Khamitov is elected to PJSOC Bashneft Board of Directors

Rustem Khamitov became a member of the PJSOC Bashneft’s Board of Directors.

The former head of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov was elected to the Board of Directors of Bashneft company. The decision was made at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of PJSOC Bashneft, which was held in Ufa today, December 14. Oleg Polstovalov, the Interim Minister of Land and Property Relations RB was also included in its structure. The former Minister of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Bashkortostan Evgeny Guryev and the former Deputy Prime-Minister Farkhad Samedov were withdrawn from the board. The remaining members of the board retained their seats, all of which are employees of the Rosneft group.

Rosneft owns 69.3% of Bashneft’s shares, Bashkiria owns 25.79%, and the rest is owned by minority shareholders.

Rustem Khamitov served as head of Bashkortostan from 2010 to 2018, resigned since October 11.
