What salary can executives expect in Ufa - survey

The HeadHunter research service analyzed the labor market for executives and management in major Russian cities, including Ufa. In terms of salaries offered, the capital of Bashkiria ranked 10th among million-plus cities. The leaders here are ready to pay 81 thousand rubles - this is 11 thousand less than the average in Russia.

According to experts, in the regions, the level of the offered salary in the segment “Executives/Managers” has fallen by an average of 6% since 2015. Statistics show that the difference between the expectations of candidates applying for leadership positions and the salary offered by employers is 11%, which is almost four times more than in other professional areas. At the same time, 86% of job seekers admit that it is difficult for them to find a job, and 77% say that employment is now critically important for them. However, only 47% of respondents are ready to reduce their salary expectations.

The managers who specialize in sales, production and personnel management are most in demand. At the same time, vacancies for linear management are most offered by the retail trade, business services, non-food consumer goods, and financial sector companies.

As a rule, applicants applying for leadership positions (93%) in the regions have higher education. In most cases, it is economic, technical or legal, less often - physical and mathematical, psychological and philological. 15% are fluent in at least one foreign language.

It is noteworthy that the level of competition among job seekers in Ufa is among the lowest in million-plus cities: 9.5 CVs per job.
