New farm imports breeding cows from Czech Republic and Hungary in Bashkiria

UFA, 12 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. A new farm in Zianchurino district received from the Czech Republic the first batch of Holstein-Friesian heifers. The second batch is due to arrive from Hungary on December 16th. This is one of the best dairy breeds; each Holstein cow gives from 30 to 40 liters of milk per day.
On the site of the livestock complex in the village of Chebenki, there used to be an unfinished farm owned by MTS Centralnaya. The Orenburg Agricultural Holding A7-Agro bought out the unfinished facilities for 63 million rubles at the end of 2017. Investments in a modern livestock complex amounted to more than 450 million rubles.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture RB, as of December 1, the enterprises of Bashkiria purchased 3.4 thousand heads of breeding young cattle.
