UFA, 11 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Bashkir Soda Company became a winner of the Cbonds Awards in the nomination "Debut of the Year". The prize was awarded to JSC “BSC” for the successful debut issue of corporate bonds, which was held in February 2018. The amount of funds raised in the market amounted to 8 billion rubles, which is by 3 billion more than the emission volume originally announced by the company, and it was managed to reduce the spread of coupon rates to be marketed to 8.0-8.1% per annum.

At a solemn ceremony, which took place on December 7 at the annual Cbonds Congress in St. Petersburg, Cbonds Awards were received by Ilshat Mukhametshin, Deputy Director General of JSC “BSC” for Finance and Economics.

The placement of exchange bonds of Bashkir Soda Company JSC series 001Р-01 (ruA + Expert RA) was held at the Moscow Exchange on February 2, 2018. The volume of placement amounted to 8 billion rubles with a maturity of 5 years at a coupon rate of 8.10% per annum. The coupon period was 91 days.

Total demand exceeded 18 billion rubles. It was received 45 bids from a wide range of market investors: banks, managers, investment and insurance companies, as well as private investors. 38 bids were accepted at the placement rate of 8.1%.

The Cbonds Awards is an annual prize that is given to the best participants in the Russian bond market based on open voting results among the participants. Voting is completely open and has been held annually since 2006.

Over the years, representatives of the largest IB teams in the Russian market became nominees for the Cbonds Awards: VTB Capital, Sberbank CIB, Region Group, Promsvyazbank, Raiffeisenbank, Otkritie FC and others.
