Bashkortostan saved more than 2 billion rubles with public procurement centralized system

UFA, 4 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Budget savings in Bashkiria, due to trading held since the beginning of the year, reached 2.1 billion rubles, Minister of Economic Development of the Region Sergey Novikov told reporters.
“The centralized public procurement system is an unequivocal, positive step forward for us. Traditionally, the republic has good indicators, they are associated with savings at the auctions. Thus, according to the results of 11 months of 2018, we record savings in the amount of 2.1 billion rubles. This is about 10 new large kindergartens or 20 medium ones. We believe that this is a good indicator: in relative terms, it is 12% with a bar of 8-9%,” he stated at a briefing organized as part of a seminar on the centralized procurement system development for state and municipal needs.
As the head of the ministry stressed, Bashkortostan was ahead of many regions in terms of budget savings both in the Volga Federal District and Russia as a whole.
Of the 4.5 thousand state orders placed since the beginning of the year, 3 thousand auctions have been completed. Suppliers were identified for 2.3 thousand orders. The remaining trades are still underway. On average, there are three bids from participants per auction.
Meanwhile, as head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service RB Andrei Khomyakov told reporters, over the 11 months of this year, the agency received about 300 applications for inclusion in the Register of unscrupulous suppliers.
“After reviewing the applications received by us, it was decided to include unscrupulous suppliers in the Register on 56% of them,” Andrei Khomyakov added.
