Bashkiria took 37th position in wages rating of regions

UFA, 4 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. RIA Rating experts calculated the level and distribution of wages in the subjects of Russia in 2018. Bashkortostan took the 37th place in the list. The rating was based on the share of workers receiving 100 thousand rubles or more per month (highly paid workers). In addition, such indicators as the proportion of low-wage workers (less than 15 thousand rubles per month) and the range of the most common wages in the region were analyzed and given in the study.
In Bashkortostan, 1.85% of working citizens receive high wages from 100 thousand rubles and more per month. With a working-age population of about 2 million people, it turns out that about 30 thousand people receive a salary above 100 thousand rubles in the republic.
The share of workers with a salary below 15 thousand rubles is 26.8% or 535 thousand residents of the republic. At the same time, according to experts, half of the residents of the region receive a salary in the range of 14-34 thousand rubles.
The leaders in the proportion of high salaries predictably became the northern and far eastern regions. This is the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. It can boast that more than 27% of employees earn more than 100 thousand rubles a month. The second line was occupied by the Chukotka Autonomous Region, where 26% of workers receive more than 100 thousand a month. The Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District is in the third place in terms of high wages proportion is located (20%), the Magadan Region takes the fourth place (17.6%).
The Pskov Region, Kabardino-Balkaria and Adygea are the outsiders of the rating. The share of highly paid workers there is about 0.6%, and the share of low paid workers is 37–43%.
