This was reported by the Chairman of the Republican State Committee for Trade and Consumer Protection Guzel Asylova at a meeting of the Bashkortostan State Assembly Committee for Industry, Innovative Development, Trade, Entrepreneurship and Tourism.

“The brand “Product of Bashkortostan” will be improved and modernized”, said Guzel Asylova.

In the republic, 383 manufacturers take part in the “Product of Bashkortostan” program. More than 11 thousand food and non-food products are marked with it.

The representation of socially important goods is monitored in the retail chains - it covers 23 names of food products, including milk, vegetables, groceries, and bread.

According to the head of the State Trade Committee, the smallest share of republican-made goods is observed for flour and pasta.
