Sugar factory launched equipment worth 70 million rubles in Bashkiria

In November, a new unit was launched at the Chishminsky Sugar Factory, which will minimize the loss of sugar and will be able to produce an additional 1.5 thousand tons of products. The cost of the sugar/glucose syrup mixture station (a product of sugar beet processing) is 70 million rubles, the payback period is two years, the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs.

To date, the plant has processed about 300 thousand tons of beets and produced about 50 thousand tons of sugar. The availability of own raw materials this year is 85%; it is supplied by a subdivision of the company - the Bashkir-Agroinvest enterprise. It is planned to complete the processing of the harvest by January 10, 2019.

According to Kommersant-Ufa, since 2016, 84% of the authorized capital of the Chishminsky Sugar Factory belongs to the British Detare Business Ltd. Previously, the plant was a part of the country's largest agricultural holding “Razgulay” and was sold for the debts of the parent company.
