Only 9% admitted that they were looking forward to the discovery of this direction and would go there even taking into account the rise in the price of trips. 16% replied that they would wait until the other tourists will come back and share their impressions.

Egypt for Russian tourists was the most popular destination successfully vying with Turkey. The country was "closed" after the crash on October 31, 2015, when a bomb planted at the airport blew A-321 with tourists returning to St. Petersburg. After this tragedy, many travel companies left the Russian market. In 2018, flights between the countries were officially restored, but so far only the Cairo airport has passed the safety tests. Airports of resort cities are to be checked in the spring of 2019. Then a revival of the tourist flow should be expected, experts say.
