Ufa will receive 2.5 billion rubles for new bridge construction over Belaya River

The Federal Road Agency will allocate Bashkortostan 2.5 billion rubles for the construction of a new bridge over the Belaya River in the alignment of Vorovsky Street at the southern exit of Ufa. The agreement was reached at a meeting with the head of "Rosavtodor" Andrei Kostyuk during the International Transport Forum. At a briefing session in the government of the republic, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov instructed the Vice Prime Minister Raif Abdrakhimov and Ufa Mayor Ulfat Mustafin to start immediately the necessary procedures on the new bridge construction.

The Acting Head of the region noted that the issue of reconstruction of the R-240 Ufa-Orenburg highway with the extension to four lanes of the section bypassing the city of Sterlitamak had been also discussed at the meeting with the head of Rosavtodor.

“This is a powerful cluster, which includes the cities of Sterlitamak, Salavat, Ishimbay. “Rosavtodor” is ready to help us, please work out this issue together,” said Radiy Khabirov.

According to the Acting Head of the republic, the final fate of the Eastern exit construction from Ufa is not yet clear. “We need to identify clearly the role of co-financing, as so far this is a big problem,” said Radiy Khabirov.
