Bashkiria will receive grant for good tax collection rate

Bashkortostan claims for a part of a government grant, the total amount of which is 20 billion rubles. The money from the federal treasury will be allocated for those subjects of the Russian Federation that have demonstrated the best tax collection rate and growth in their own budget revenues. There are 40 of them.

It is noted that the authorities of the region will decide for themselves how to use the grant.

According to State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, "the regions will spend their money on the most pressing problems that always exist".

It became known that Bashkortostan will receive 192.797 million rubles. This is the sixth largest indicator in the Volga Federal District, Regnum News Agency reports citing the relevant order of the Russian government, which was submitted to the State Duma. Total, eight out of 14 regions will receive grants.
