Bashkiria is increasing production of marketable milk

UFA, 22 November 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Production of marketable milk is increased in Bashkiria. By November 21, agricultural enterprises and farms produced over 541 thousand tons of marketable milk, the Ministry of Agriculture RB reported. This is 3.1 thousand tons more than the last year.

Leadership is kept by farms of the Chekmagush district - 47 thousand 794 tons of milk (+ 1.7 thousand tons to the result of 2017). The second and third positions are occupied by Sterlitamak and Dyurtyuly districts - 31 thousand tons and 27.2 thousand tons, respectively.

Marketable milk is the volume of the product directed for industrial processing.

Recall that a long-term comprehensive program for the development of the republican dairy industry until 2030 is being developed in Bashkiria. As a result of the program, the production of marketable milk by 2020 should increase to 1 million tons, by 2030 - to 2 million tons. Now the republic produces 710 thousand tons of marketable milk per year. This is only 41% of the total production.
