Ufa budget for 2019 is planned to be debt-neutral

Today, on November 21, the deputies of the Ufa City Council decided to hold public hearings on the budget of the capital of Bashkiria for 2019 on December 5. They will be held in the City Recreation Centre. Any resident of Ufa can take part in the event and make suggestions for the formation of the city budget. The draft budget and the procedure for submitting written proposals and participation in public hearings will be published on November 23.

The projected total revenue of the Ufa budget for 2019 is planned at 23.7 billion rubles; expenditures will make the same amount. Thus, the city budget for the next year is planned to be debt-neutral. The amount of intergovernmental transfers received from the budget of Bashkiria is projected at 12 billion rubles. The volume of the Road Fund of Ufa in 2019 should reach 3.3 billion rubles.

At a meeting of the City Council, the preliminary results of the city budget were summed up (as of November 1). It is noted that the budget deficit of the city in 2018 will not exceed 52.9 million rubles.

The budget of Ufa for 2017 was executed with a deficit of 400 million rubles.
