Bashkiria plans to subsidize investors’ costs for infrastructure

The Ministry of Economic Development of the region has developed a draft decree determining a procedure for granting subsidies for reimbursement of costs for the creation of infrastructure facilities in order to provide state support to enterprises implementing priority investment projects in Bashkiria.

It regards co-financing of works on the construction of mains for external power supply, gas supply, heat supply, water supply, sewerage, local treatment facilities, roads, and non-public railways. It is planned to allocate 1 billion rubles for these purposes annually within the framework of the republican targeted investment program.

As the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkiria underlines, the main criterion for the provision of subsidies is a positive social return. Thus, when implementing an investment project, an enterprise should create at least one-third of high-performance jobs.
