More than 70% of housing is built with borrowed funds in Bashkiria

In the first 10 months of this year, 20 thousand apartments with a total area of ​​1.618 million square meters were commissioned in Bashkortostan. This is 10.5 percent less than in January-October last year, the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports.

Year to date, 398 square meters of housing have been built per thousand inhabitants in the republic.

According to the results of 10 months of 2018, Bashkiria ranks second among the regions of the Volga Federal District in residential housing put into operation. The republic ranks fourth in terms of commissioning housing per capita.

In the structure of housing construction, the share of housing built by individuals at their own expense and with borrowed funds was 71 percent. Residents of Bashkiria built 10.6 thousand houses with a total area of ​​more than 1.149 million square meters. This is 8.6 percent less than in January-October last year.

Over the same period, developers-legal entities commissioned over 469 thousand square meters of the total area of ​​houses. This is 15 percent less than in January-October last year, statisticians summarized.
