Residents of Bashkiria store 369 billion rubles in banks

UFA, 15 November 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Residents of Bashkiria stored in banks 369 billion rubles, as of October 1, 2018. This was reported by the National Bank RB. As of May 1 of this year, the bank deposits amounted to 373 billion. Still, 90% of deposits are stored in rubles, 10% in currency.

“Since September, interest rates on deposits in rubles began to rise. According to the latest data, their average value is now at the level of 5.1% (for a period of over a year),” the Deputy General Manager of the National Bank for Bashkiria, the branch of the Ural Directorate of the Bank of Russia, Egor Miktanyuk informs.
