Agricultural universities, colleges and research institutes will receive state support in Bashkiria

Agrarian universities, colleges and scientific research institutes that, in addition to the educational and scientific process, are engaged in the production of agricultural products, their primary and subsequent processing, will also receive state support in the field of agricultural development in Bashkortostan. The press service of the regional parliament informs that the relevant amendments to the law "On the agriculture development in the Republic of Bashkortostan" will be made at the next plenary meeting of the State Assembly RB.

“It is proposed to create for scientific and educational organizations equal conditions with agricultural producers in obtaining state support. It also regards the provision of budgetary funds. There are many agricultural colleges and scientific institutes in the republic. The measure will contribute to solving the problems of their facilities maintenance; will make a positive effect in terms of improving the quality of their scientific, industrial and educational activities. Previously, the state support measures were applied only to agricultural producers, organizations and individual entrepreneurs engaged in the primary and industrial processing of agricultural products. The statutory innovation of the federal legislation extends them to scientific and educational institutions. This regulation is to be fixed in the republican legislation too”, commented on the Chairman of the State Assembly Konstantin Tolkachev.
