This is a responsibility of the Government and yours, dear heads”, said Acting Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov on Thursday, November 8, at a meeting in the Ufa administration.

He called the situation with the housing construction one of the sensitive issues of the city.

“Our key task is active, powerful and prompt housing construction. Our people need housing; the waiting lists are stretched for years. We sometimes cannot provide housing for those citizens who are entitled to it due to the requirements of the federal legislation. Therefore, we will continue housing construction,” said Radiy Khabirov. “But we will no longer build housing as it used to be built until now. The ill-advised, irresponsible decisions have led to the fact that it is in the city of Ufa, in the Ufa district, where we have a large share of defrauded real estate investors. ”

The Acting Head of the republic also noted that developers must either build social facilities or transfer some money for the construction of polyclinics, schools, kindergartens, etc.

“Our task is to build a lot, more than it used to be, but at the same time, in such a way that people can live comfortably, so that we do not have any deceived real estate investors and that people can use normal social infrastructure”, Radiy Khabirov said.
