Mere cleaning should be done in Ufa - Radiy Khabirov

The Acting Head of Bashkortostan suggested that the city services should closely address the issue of street cleaning, having promised his assistance in fuel supply and other resources.

“The mud accumulates at the street curbs, and as it dries out - dust flies over the city. Thus the first impression - you should do a cleaning. This is not a quick project, but you have to do it. There are simple town planning solutions. As in Moscow, you can go even in white socks along Kutuzovsky Avenue. We should have the same cleanliness here”, said the head of the region, having suggested the mayor’s office employees drive over the city together.

Earlier, the head of the region planned to purchase municipal equipment for the capital.

As the journalists established earlier, Ufa lacks janitors and clearing equipment. The lack of storm drains and the improper design of lawns and roads also contribute to the collection of dirt and dust on the streets. November in Ufa is the dustiest month: as a rule, frosts come before snowfalls.
