Bashkiria ranked 34th in terms of unemployment in Russia

The unemployment rate in the region was 4.5%. The same indicator is registered in the Kamchatka Territory, Kaliningrad, Vologda, Penza, and Oryol regions. These are the data of experts of the "RIA Rating" agency.

At the same time, according to statistics, there is a positive trend in the region - the figure fell by 1.1%.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency with reference to the latest data from the employment service, there are about 18.5 thousand registered unemployed in the republic. There are 46 thousand jobs in the regional job bank.

The best situation with employment is in Moscow. The unemployment rate there is 1.2%. There are two vacancies per one unemployed person in the capital in the employment service. In other regions, the prevalence of vacancies over the number of unemployed is even more pronounced. Experts explain this by the discrepancy between the requirements for candidates and their salary expectations. In addition to Moscow, St. Petersburg (1.4%), the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District (2%), the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District (2.3%) and Moscow Region (2.6%) are in the list of regions with the lowest unemployment rate.

Among the outsiders are Ingushetia (26.5%), Tyva (19%), Chechnya (13.8%), Karachay-Cherkessia (12.1%), Dagestan (10.7%), the Altai Republic (10, 2%) and Trans-Baikal Territory (10.2%).

According to the latest published data by Rosstat, the labor force in June-August of the current year amounted to 76.2 million people, of which 3.5 million are unemployed.
