Bashkiria enterprises made redundant 10 thousand employees year to date

In the first nine months of this year, enterprises and organizations of Bashkiria were forced to lay off a little more than 10 thousand people. A year ago, about 17.4 thousand workers got laid off in the republic.

According to the Ministry of Labor of the region, it was managed to employ 4.3 thousand out of 10 thousand workers. Almost 600 residents of Bashkiria were granted an old-age retirement pension.

By October 1, the total number of workers who were at risk of dismissal exceeded 4 thousand people “against” 13 thousand people in the republic at the beginning of October 2017.

In Ufa, 286 enterprises and organizations laid off 5,392 people since the beginning of the year. Of these, 1955 workers were employed, most of which in their own organization. Such data as of October 26 was provided to the Bashinform News Agency by the Ufa Employment Center.
