Tractors will be assembled in Bashkiria

UFA, 26 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. A joint project of agricultural scientists and manufacturers of agricultural machinery is launched in Bashkortostan.

The enterprise subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture of the region started assembling tractors, which will be completed with precision farming systems developed by scientists of Bashkir Agriculture University.

“The assembly of tractors in the territory of the republic has already significantly reduced the price of their cost for our farmers. The second plus is the precision farming system that will be installed on the vehicles. It is capable to reduce the cost of agricultural work by one third. The purchase of such a system of foreign production would cost the agrarians more than a million rubles. The development of Bashkir Agriculture University scientists is almost 10 times cheaper but no less effective,” said Almaz Galimov, the spokesman for the Ministry of Agriculture RB.

According to him, the grand opening of the assembly shop in the Ufa district will be held on October 29.

The hardware-software complex under the working name “Agrocompass” was developed at Bashkir State Agrarian University and is intended for use in agricultural production as an element of precision farming systems.
