Bashkiria Government will discuss economic growth plans feasibility

Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov opening today's session of the republican Government, offered to discuss a feasibility of plans for economic growth. He drew attention to the presented forecasts. This year growth of the gross regional product is expected to be at the level of 2%, in the next three years - from 2.4% to 3.4%. The Russian rates range from 1.3% to 3.1%.

“On average, annually it is planned to have an increase of 2.7% in industrial production, 1.7% in agriculture, 2.4% in trade, 6.5% in construction. I think we need to discuss the feasibility of these calculations. For example, indicators for investment, housing construction, and incomes of the population worsen in the republic for the second year. I would like to ask the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Labor, the State Committee for Construction to make proposals on the remediation of the situation with specific measures, deadlines and persons responsible as soon as possible”, the Acting Head of the region instructed.

On October 24, the Government of Bashkiria reviewed the socio-economic development forecast for 2019 and the main areas of the budget policy.
