Search engines recorded increase in consumer activity in Bashkiria

Residents of Bashkortostan are increasingly looking for goods and services on the Internet, the press service of Yandex informs. Over the year, the number of such requests grew by 20%, and in the mobile device segment by 65%.

The growth of business activity has also been recorded. In 2017, the number of commercial companies increased by 21%. In the online advertising segment, the fastest growth is observed in finance, telecommunications, and automotive products and services. According to Yandex.Direct, representatives of each of these industries have increased their promotion expenses by about one and a half times over the year. The audience of tourism advertisers is growing: the number of requests for holidays in Bashkortostan has increased by 23%. Interestingly, the search engine receives half of these requests from Russian users living outside the republic. This distribution is typical for regions that are well-known tourist centers.

Recently, Yandex has opened a commercial office in Ufa. The local team will help Bashkortostan businessmen use advertising tools more effectively to increase sales and increase return on investments in the promotion. The office staff will communicate directly with entrepreneurs and conduct seminars for them, as well as participate in events of the local business community.
